Maldives Trip Explorer (Central Atolls)
29.07.2023 – 12.08.2023
The most common surf season in the Maldives is from April to October with the biggest swells hitting during June, July and August. Bigger waves mean more options to choose from and not necessarily big surf only.
You fly to Male intl. Airport and meet your travel group. Hop on our transfer boat where we directly bring you to MV Assidha waiting for you. Check-in will be possible from 12:00 noon.
- We go on a cruise through the Central Atolls in search of uncrowded line-ups.
- The route is adjusted on the go to the local swell-, weather- and wind patterns.
- The daily maximum driving limit is 6 hours – except on arrival and departure days.
- Gerrit is our guide and makes the call depending on live weather conditions every day.
The trip will end once back in Male harbor on the evening prior to departure, where we’ll be providing a boat transfer back to the Airport on the morning of departure day before checkout at 9:00 AM.

Maldives Trip North Male Atoll
16.09.2023 – 30.09.2023
North Male is the classic surf area in the Maldives and the closest to the international airport. This also means less driving time with the boat and more time in the water. The northern Male area offers some of the most famous breaks in the Maldives.
You fly to Male intl. Airport and meet your travel group. Hop on our transfer boat where we directly bring you to MV Assidha waiting for you. Check-in will be possible from 12:00 noon.
- We go on a cruise through the North Male Atoll and have the choice between a selection of 3 right-handers and 2 left-handers of world-class quality. Once the swell grows bigger some other options come to life.
- The route gives you a lot of time in the water. The distance between spots is very close whilst the reef offers good waves for almost all local swell-, weather- and wind patterns.

Surf level?
For safety, we recommend a confident and timed take-off in most surf conditions. Being able to surf both sides with control of speed will be necessary to catch up with the speed of the curl.
An equally balanced surf level of the group is more fun. It is either important to feel confident on reef breaks or with keeping the good vibe going if one or the other session should be too advanced.
