Sri Lanka has a wide variety of surf spots: From relaxed beach breaks for beginners to soft reef waves for first surfing experiences over solid ground and learning how to get in and out. And of course the ocean also has hollow and punchy waves for advanced surfers.
With the tuktuk you can go to many great surf spots in the area. Just ask us for recommendations!
Our yoga classes are dynamic and if necessary powerful and challenging, but always with calm and gentle elements, breathing exercises or meditation. In addition to the healthy execution of the physical exercises (asanas), great emphasis is placed on the perception and respect of your personal limits. We practice according to the yoga philosophy: according to this, it is important to listen to your own needs, to bring body and mind into harmony through the yoga practice and to leave with new energy. Whether yoga for you is a series of Indian gymnastics or a journey to yourself, you can decide for yourself. Please clarify any physical limitations with your local yoga teacher before the first class.
There are various food options in the immediate vicinity. In the town of Matara, the second largest town in the Southern Province after Galle, there are many restaurants serving local classics such as Rice & Curry, Kottu Roti and “Short Eats”. Shawarma, grilled chicken and Indian restaurants can also be found here.
If you are in the mood for fresh fish, we recommend Mirissa. In less than a 10-minute tuk-tuk ride away, there are countless beach restaurants that offer a fresh fish buffet. The selected fish is then served grilled. It doesn’t get any fresher than this.
Also recommended is the nearby Polhena Beach. An offshore reef makes this beach ideal for swimming. In the immediate vicinity there are several restaurants, of course located directly on the sea, which offer both local and Western cuisine.
